Strategist
The Role: The Strategy Coordinator plays a vital role in the efficient supporting the Chief Strategy Officer in driving strategic initiatives from conception to execution. The role blends strategic operation, marketing support, client coordination and executive partnership.
The Opportunity: This is a unique role for someone to provide leverage to senior leadership in a dynamic, entrepreneurial wealth management firm. You will be turning ideas into execution – using thoughtful analysis, communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives across the firm’s workflows.
An ideal candidate has a background in finance, consulting, strategic executive support, or marketing/communications. This is not a client-facing advisor role, but an interest in financial planning or wealth management is helpful.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Support
- Collaborate with the CSO to develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives
- Work with the CSO to organize/synthesize ideas and strategies to gain acceptance/adoption within the firm
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and business cases to communicate strategic recommendations
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives
- Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans and annual business plans
Project Management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the timely execution of strategic projects
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, and monitor progress against these benchmarks
- Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may impede project progress
- Ensure alignment between various departments and stakeholders on strategic initiatives
Executive Assistant Duties
- Provide administrative support to the CSO, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence
- Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items
- Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense reports for the CSO
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of executive presentations and meetings
Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in finance, consulting, marketing, executive support, or corporate strategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in technology, CRMs, Office Suite, and AI tools
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
